The First 30 Days
The first week starts with an operational baseline: channel profitability, advertising efficiency, listing quality, stock risk, product-data health, team ownership, and the reporting cadence. Together we separate urgent revenue or availability risks from structural improvements, then turn them into a prioritized backlog with an owner and measurable outcome for every action.
During weeks two and three, I work inside the existing team and tool stack. That can mean restructuring Amazon Ads or Bol Ads, repairing catalog and feed issues, introducing a weekly trading rhythm, clarifying marketplace P&L ownership, or coordinating agencies, logistics, finance, and content. Decisions stay visible through a compact KPI dashboard and a written weekly update, so stakeholders know what changed, why it changed, and what happens next.
By week four, the goal is not dependency on an interim manager. Processes, access, decisions, and recurring checks are documented for the permanent owner. I finish with a practical handover: current performance, open risks, the next 90-day roadmap, and clear recommendations for team capacity. This makes the engagement useful both as temporary leadership and as preparation for a permanent e-commerce hire.
